weights and other nonsense
so Dona gave me a new food scale yesterday. i'm really excited because it was always tough having only one gram scale in the house when i'm trying to cook pasta and make sauce and put together a salad. now all i need is the kitchen laptop so i can easily access the nutrition website to calculate all of the calories for each meal and stop paging through that stupid calorie book.
it's time to get worked up about this weekend's racing. i rode the course last week and it looks really good. there are plenty of potholes and rocks left on the dirt road to make for some interesting lines. statistically speaking, there is only a small likelihood that there will be rocks flying, but there is the possible outlier of catching one in the teeth. i picked up a boxing tooth guard just in case. now i just have to decide how many wheels to bring to have in the pit. i think i can round up 3 sets plus the set on my bike. if you have any spares that you're not too worried about, please drop me a line @ bikezilla@gmail.com.
i'm also a little disappointed with the lack of photo contest submissions. at this point i'm going it is going to end up with The Claw and Crazy Legs having an arm wrestle. i think that would be an ugly site, so submit more photos! on the other hand, we could put together a nice blog-pool on who would win and how long it will take...
