Straight Outta PROvo...

Blogging is so '06. Blog-quitting is this years' blogging.
Big Sis Comes to Town, Harvest Moon Crit, Babies are taking over...
My sister came to town from Boston this past weekend with her husband and son. Her kid is a week younger than mine, so with two 13 month olds running around, it was pure hilarity. They accompanied us to the Harvest Moon crit in Ogden. I won this humdinger last year and was keen on pulling a repeat. But it was not meant to be. I pretty well knew my form wasn't great, but was hoping for a miracle. As usual in this sport, it is hard to fake it. Louder smoked everybody. I ended up 8th, so at least put some cash in the team pot. Big ups to the promoter for putting on an awesome event- Good money, crowds, etc. Utah needs more crits, (oh yeah, and the need to be LONGER) and this one is an awesome way to end the season. Later I'll tell the story of the Laguna Beach GP, another big money, end of the season crit. I did once... the most money/ hour I've ever made- racing or otherwise...

Ummm yeah, I'm responding to myself... Someone sent me an email saying they didn't think it was fair when pros race local races. To which I say: whatever. If you want to get better, race against good guys. If you don't want to get better, go sit on the couch and watch "Charles in Charge" re-runs.
