Wowie was it fun racing over the weekend. I really don't like the "off-season" one bit. I would prefer to just keep racing and have a week or two off here and there. Anyway, it was funny to watch guy who aren't fit try to race (including myself). Guys you know are usually strong and can make a huge effort, but on Saturday they would make the initial jump and linger for a minute then just BAM!! they're dead.
Anyway, for any chumps who weren't there, Sandy Perrins (who??) won over Dave Harward and new teammate Brad Buccambuso. They three lapped the field. Sandy wanted to make sure he won a race this year. Dave put up a brave fight, but with 8 of us and one of him it was gonna be hard. I think he put himself in about the best position possible to win, but it was gonna be rough going no matter what. I think we should've divided our team up to make it more interesting. Plus, if we played shirts vs. skins, I think we can assume the female spectatorship would've gone through the roof. Of course, that's only if I was on the "skins" team... Welcome to the gun club, Ladies. Population two.
