Polygamy- so hot right now.
Oh yeah, I forgot one detail of the drive home from Sedoner... We stopped at a rest area/gas station in Cove Fort (not far from BEAUTIFUL Beaver, UT) and I had my first legit polygamist siting. This dude pulls his mini van around way far from everyone else in the parking lot, (as I am walking with Haley, I am over where they are) and this lady and young girl get out with the full length dress with arms and legs covered, braids, etc., which sparks my interest so I peak in the van and see another adult female and various kids. The dude driving sees me checking out his various wives and starts walking over to me, so I high tail it back to the car and he turns around. Then, he pulls his car over to the other side of the lot and lets another woman and child out...
Since moving to Utah I've had a strange fascination with the polyg culture... not that I want to run out and join them. Believe me, one wife (great as she is) is all I can handle. Sometimes more. Anyway, the point is I was enjoying watching all this unfold. Until Kelly had to ruin it by mentioning that the young girls exiting the vehicle would be married to some dirty old man by the time they are 15. That pretty well killed it for me.
