Straight Outta PROvo...

Blogging is so '06. Blog-quitting is this years' blogging.
You know what I'm sick of...
You know what I'm sick of...(a new feature of the RB blog) It started some time ago, when someone stated "he always gives 100%". I was dubious, as rarely does anyone give absolutely everything. I mean, seriously. Be honest. Then, suddenly it got much, much worse. This was the era of "101%"! 101%?? Excuse me!! How does that work? Next thing you know, someone is (supposedly) giving 110%. Sorry, not possible. I knew it had reached epidemic proportions when I heard, "he always gives 200%". Dear God, where will this end?? Can we possibly avoid 300,400,500%?? 1000%??? Hey folks, get a clue. Try eating 101% of your stomachs capacity! It just won't happen. So if you hear me talking up one of my awesome teammates, and I say, "He is a team player, always willing to give 75%, give or take a little.", realize I AM complimenting them. No one gives 100% and surely they don't give 101% as that is just not possible. So, stop saying it you lying sacks of crap!! Barrett out.

75%, heh..? I should try it as opposed to the usual 'best I can' (which historically wasn't enough). I'm not sure if my wife and employer will settle on a portion of the remaining 25% though... and then, there's God. Hmmm...
