The Weekend, Gaining My Religion
Spring in Utah is pretty weird as we went from 70's and sunny, to a huge snowstorm and back in the space of about 4 days.
Saturday there was no racing due to the demise of Tour of the Storm (formerly Chum's Classic- How come nobody wears Chum's anymore??), so we had a good group ride. Just under 5 hours, 90 miles even. I was shooting for a hundred, but we climbed a bit and that's gotta be worth something. The ride ended up so good I won't even rag on Gardie for making the entire 30 person group go find him at the start. Some guys hung out and ate burgers after the ride. I could make fun of them for dieting like girls now, but I won't bother. Oh, no slight to the females out there... I know that many of your are capable of eating a great deal. I think it just cracks me when guys burn that many calories and then are like, "oh no, I can't have A cookie".
Sunday I didn't ride my bike at all. I went to a full three hours of church and watched the last hour of Paris-Roubaix. If you don't know, I am not a member of "the church" (or any other) at least as of today.
