Saul, Big Wednesday(s), bis sis, and whatever...
It looks like Saul is doing much better... Go to your choice of cycling site for complete details. As someone somewhere pointed out, in the American tradition, after nearly dying he should come back and win the tour. Seriously though, even though he has made great progress, there is a long way to go and nothing guaranteed, so keep praying, thinking good thoughts, sending positive vibes, whatever it is that you do.
Rode my bike to the bus stop and then up to the U from downtown yesterday morning, then out to the training race at Thanksgiving Point. It was good. We went pretty hard and I ended up with 4.5 hours, which is pretty good. Ate burgers after... I am pretty sure burgers are my ultimate recovery food. Woke up this morming feeling like a million bucks, or at least a hundered pesos. Next week, I am aiming to ride into work in the morning and then follow the same afternoon routine. This will be like 120 miles, but I figure if you're only gonna train once/week, you might as well go big.
In other news, my sister may or may not have gone into labor this morning... Hopefully, we'll find out soon. This in the midst of selling their condo, and buying a house, a car, etc... Crazy times.
Celebrating Easter tommorrow just because I like to keep ahead of the 8 ball. Hopefully, the Easter Bunny makes a visit. Up to Pocafello on Saturday.
That's about all I got.
