Straight Outta PROvo...

Blogging is so '06. Blog-quitting is this years' blogging.
Everybody's working for the weekend...
The Saturday ride did not work out in my favor as Kelly had to meet the gardener at the property we manage and asked me to watch Haley. I was a bit perturbed by the situation as she let me know ten minutes before I was to leave for the ride, but then I realized that it really doesn't matter at all, and all was right with the world. I ended up riding with my neighbors Rob (ironmanchallenge.blogspot.com) and Jerry until Rob got his second flat of the day and like 23rd of the week or something. Rob has lost over a hundred pounds since we moved here a couple years back, which just blows me away. I heard the group ride was all good and epic and what not. It was probably good I didn't do more than a couple hours as I was sporting my new whiter-than-white White Goodman Signature Series Lake shoes. These are supposed to be for temporary use only, but I think I may keep them as I don't see any difference from them to the supposedly better shoes we usually get, and they match our kit better and we all know that is what is most important in the world. I managed to get the tree planted that I mentioned last time, now we'll see if it actually grows. Sunday I managed to climb up to Aspen Grove where there is still a lot of snow. I wonder how long it will be before I can ride Alpine Loop? Went up Squaw Peak where there was no snow, but the gate is still closed so the road was car-free, which I like. Passed a motorbike (they must've gone around the gate too) on the way down, which I think tripped out the chick on the back. On a completely unrelated note, there is this chick (Sorry girl. Sorry lady) that works in my office. She is young and good looking and she takes a smoke break about every ten minutes. Alright, so I didn't see her for awhile, then on Friday when I am leaving I see her out on her smoke break, and she is clearly pregnant. I'm sorry, maybe you didn't get the memo, smoking is bad for fetuseses. I am not really big on anti-smoking laws as long as we aren't dealing with a place where I am enclosed with the smokage, but it just seems like in this day and age, a person would know better than to smoke while pregnant. Rant over. RB Out.

It's kinda hard to argue that smoking is bad for the fetus in a day and age where she has a right to kill it.

Depending on a lot of variables...... make sure you water that tree every other day for the next 2 weeks, then start tapering off I.E. every 3 or 4 days for a week then maybe 4-5. Till your regular watering schedual catches up with it. Also this is going to depend on your lawn watering situation, and rain. You should already have some budding on a tree, and in then next weeks you should see some growth I.E. Budding into leafs.......IMNSHO ;)

Thanks for the comments, gang.  I was hoping The Mop could give me some tips as I know he (?) is a gardening wiz.
It's really not at all hard (for me anyway) to argue that smoking is bad for a fetus regardless of the legality of abortion.

Since you asked..... My opinion on the whole abortion smoking thing.......... When it comes to kids. Eat them while their bones are still soft, and if they can be smoked before I even put them on the grill...... The more the better.
Oh, garden tips..... if you haven't done it, tree and shrub pruning are emergency action items. Good to get that weed and feed on the lawn. You could put a few more rows of peas in, beets can still be planted, carrots, Spinach.......
