Straight Outta PROvo...

Blogging is so '06. Blog-quitting is this years' blogging.
The Day I Kicked Floyd's Ass, and Cruisin' in P-town

As jaded as I try pretend to be with pro biking, a ride like today's still moves me... Therefore, I present the day I kicked Floyd's ass:

On another note, the city of Provo got a grant to provide bikes around town that are available for public use.  This morning Racer's crew and I got to tool around on the cruisers (fully kitted up, no less) in front of an adoring paparazzi, or the local press.  Look for it in tommorrow's paper.

So, I am missing Boise crit. this weekend, which kinda sucks.  I might do Draper Crit depending on how the morning's ride of Stage 6 of Tour of Utah goes, which of course hinges on whether or not we have a kid by then.  I guess what I am saying is that I have no idea what I am doing this weekend, but I could do a whole bunch o' biking or I might just not touch my bike at all.

Not riding stage 6 this weekend...I had my dates wrong.

Oh yeah, and in the DP article the "reporter" wasn't supposed to include that we set up the finish ahead of time.  I got in trouble for that.

do you think that is what motivated Floyd yesterday?

He had some "motivation" for sure.  Whether it was from my "kicking his ass" in a race that he rode to and from 4 years ago is up for debate, but I would say it's pretty likely.  You see the fire in those eyes;
I am pretty sure he was imagining that he was chasing me all day.
