Straight Outta PROvo...

Blogging is so '06. Blog-quitting is this years' blogging.
It really IS pointless, but...

So yeah, "somebody" asked me if this all meant I was going to quit blogging.  Ummm, no, as pointless as it is, I like it.  It doesn't "help the scene" all that much, but hopefully relieves some poor slouch of the daily grind for a few minutes.  Plus, I got like 5 new coaching clients from the posting about coaching.  Seriously.  So hopefully, they'll get better at bike gaming and some good will come there, and my kids will stay in Pampers (not Haley though as she got it into the potty twice yesterday).  Anyway, I'm sure I'll anger another at some point, but that doesn't normally bother me so much.

Sleevie (he's on a roll, so clicky, clicky) and Bryson are coming to ride with me during my lunch hour or hour and half or whatever.  On that note, I put in my two weeks notice yesterday, and I'm already feeling the urge to slack like a slack ass slacker.  Must fight the urge and get stuff done.  Want to go out on a good note.  This'll be my first ride since the AB ride.  I've also been trying to eat as much crap (not literally, of course) as possible.  It is usually my goal to gain as much weight as possible in the offy (am I allowed to use the expression 'offy' or is that for Aussies only?).  It used to be my goal to 'when I get old' to get a gut 'cause it would look so funny to have these skinny arms and legs and then a huge ponch.  I'm sure I thought 30 was old then and I'm pretty much there now (give or take a year), and um, the idea of a big gut doesn't appeal to me so much anymore, so I'll probably start some kinda semi-regimented exercise program again soon... probably jazzercise.  I hear that's the way to get the eight-pack, 'cause six packs just aren't good enough anymore.

Wow, this one really really is pointless.

RB Out.

I am back and the good news is I still love riding bikes.  Especially with those two.  The only problem is that I love it so much I could pretty easily go for 5-6 hours, but you know, I have some other stuff to do.  Those two don't seem to have that problem so much, so it is really hard for me to say "nope, time for me to go back to work"...

I saw you dudes coming down Emigration Canyon when I was driving up to ride the Mormon Pioneer Trail on the mountain bike.  Speaking of which, don't you have an old mtn bike in the garage somewhere?  If not, see if Chucky will let you borrow one of his (his rigid ss would be a good choice) and bring it to work sometime in the next couple of weeks so we can do a ride on the dirt.  I haven't touched the road bike in almost 3 weeks...

I have one... it'll need some work to get it onto the trail and may not make it through any ride.  Give me a holler.
