Straight Outta PROvo...

Blogging is so '06. Blog-quitting is this years' blogging.
Everybody's Working for the Weekend...

Or recovering from the weekend...

Or something else.

Did the race around West Mtn.  I think that pretty much says it all right there.  It was hard.  I haven't ridden that hard, (or that far) in a couple months.  Watch out for big dude named Jason.  He is a 4 right now, but he is strong like bull and I think if he wants to, he'll be killing it in the 1-2 races in the near future.

Went to a birthday party that night and everybody was like "wow, you did a big ride today?".  I guess they forgot that the sun always shines on Utah County.  Plus, I know they all train during the week.  Cheaters.

One day I will get a baby sitter and not have to be the only person with kids at the adult party.  Don't get me wrong.  I like to roll with my girls.  But, it will be nice to be able to stay out past 8.  You know, I was just about to show off some of my new dance moves, and then we had to go.

The worst part is that I did, in fact, get a party hat.  And then, I left it there.  Fully custom too.  It was slightly unfortunate as I was the only one who got a hat, and it was really big, making me about 9 feet tall, but still, how could I forget a work of art such as the hat?  To the artists, I am sorry.  It was truly a mistake.

Pulled Haley around in the rikshaw (sp?) for an hour on Sunday.

Finally, this whole thing with Sager (and now, Bart) is retarded.  I think anyone who reads this knows that I am pretty hardline anti-doping.  Still, the powers that be need to realize when it is their own fault that someone misses a test.  I will say I am pretty uptight about checking the random board, just in case, anytime I am a big deal bike game, but you gotta have it where people can find it.  Especially when it seems like half the time, they don't bother with testing.  The board location should be announced on the start line.

Oh yeah, I forgot to point this out... At the Tour of Southland, Thurlow Rogers and Steve Tilford were both Top 20.  For those not in the know, Thurlow was top 10 in the Olympics in 1984!!!  And, I think Tilford was the first ever Mtn. Bike World Chump back when.  They are both 45+.

Also, of note Hayden Roulston won despite retiring a few months ago, and Gordy McCauley won a stage and was top 10 G.C. and he has retired at least 3 times.

Quitting ain't easy.

Oh yeah again, (this is what happens when it's slow and no one leaves a comment in the first five minutes after I post something) I started doing lunges and squats holding Morgan and I am sore... She weighs all of 12lbs., so that is pretty sad.

maybe you need to account for the weight of the Thursday donuts in your weight activities?

also I think it was closer to 7'--nice fish tale though

Yeah, about that... for the record... I was woo-ed with tales of Thursday doughnuts, and thus far, have yet to see a doughnut.  I knew I should've put it in writing.

Throw Low Rogers is a bad ass no doubt... you might want to mention his numerous recent World Masters Titles.  TT, Road Race, whichever.. the dude still kills it, white hair and all.

Will he win Rogers Cup this year?   That's what's most important.

I saw the hat after you left... epic...

Thank goodness there are two ways to spell doughnuts/donuts.  I like that yours inludes the sound "GH" ... GHo GHet those DouGHnuts turbo.

Yeah, I used to think pro master's racing was kinda like wack yo, but you know, there's master's golf and those guys might even make  more money than Thurlow does riding bikes, so whatever you know.

The guy is a bad dude.
