Straight Outta PROvo...

Blogging is so '06. Blog-quitting is this years' blogging.
A Change of Plans...

So, the plan was to hit out and ride in this morning and then Kelly would pick me up and we'd run to REI to use our dividend before the year end.  Unfortunately, I hardly slept and am feeling pretty weak.  Without getting into details, I have inadvertently moved on to the Sly diet.  I am not harfing or anything, so it feels really strange to not be hungry at all.  I really need to do the PROvo ride tommorrow as I got the warning call to "bring some form" for my upcoming CA Xmas/New Years trip.  And you know me, winter group rides are my priority for the year.  We'll see.  I got chills (they're multiplying) at the moment, so that's probably not good.  I think I'm gonna take a half day today as it's slow as mole-asses anyway.  I was hoping to not take a day off between the drive home for Thanksgiving and the drive out for Christmas, but it ain't looking too great today.  Keep in mind all my weekday rides are in the 45 min. range, so I'm not exactly putting in the hours.

I have noticed a huge trend recently of bloggers slogging Christmas/and/or the holiday season as a whole.  Not sure what's wrong with you people.  This is undoubtedly the best time of the year for me (barring illness).  And no, it's not 'cause I am such a huge fan of Christmas music.  Anyway, without being a jerk, to a large extent, we create our own destinies and if you're not happy in the situation you're in, do something about it.

 RB OUT.

Man, my wife and son suffered from a similar bug last week.  If it's the same you'll have an upset stomach with chills for 2-3 days.  If you can force yourself to eat it shouldn't come back up but neither of them ate much as they just didn't feel like doing anything besides sleeping.  Fun stuff for sure.  Hope you feel better soon.

Winter training in So California is serious busineess.  Is this a scouting expedition for your future masters team.  Who will you join up with if there is no more Labor?

Are you riding tomorrow in the U.C. ?  I intend on being there so ditch that bug.

Guess this means I should "go with my gut" when it comes to my feelings during this time of year... looks like I'm going to open fire on a large crowd very soon!

Yes, I hate the holidays.

Dear Roadirt,

That won't bring you any happiness.

Oh yeah, and I was all better by Saturday p.m.  Veird.  I think maybe I ate something not so good.  Bad fever on Friday.  Didn't ride 'til Sunday, then went out and flogged myself.  Got to try out the new Reynolds Attack wheels (PRODUCT PLACEMENT HERE).  They are sweet.  Buy them.

It won't bring you any satisfaction either.  You can't get no satisfaction.

I joined up with that saturday ride for the first time when they came through springville.  I am not real sociable, observed a couple people who stayed in the front and pulled the entire time, figured it was you.

No, although that is my customary position.  If you show up again (please do), say how-do.
