Straight Outta PROvo...

Blogging is so '06. Blog-quitting is this years' blogging.
There's No Place Like Home, Right??

Hopefully the deep freeze covering the wild west will end soon... This is the coldest it's been since I moved here a few years back.  I am glad I am not worrying too much about putting in the big K's these days as that would really be Sucksville (Population: You).

Anyway, Chicago and Mill-a-wa-kay were downright balmy in comparison, but that's probably all changed now.  So I guess we timed that right.

Oh yeah, what's the draw to cycling (and the biking industry) to people with OCC and ADHD?  Have you ever met someone who drives slower on the freeway than on surface streets?  I have.

All for now.

Be aware that the terminology should read Obsessive Compulsive Disorder or OCD for short. I know, because I have it, or a mild case of it. I also have ADHD. I've never been able to drop the H to just ADD, I'm ALWAYS hyperactive. Thankfully I grew up before every single kid in the world was on Ridalin, and I gladly missed that boat.

I think that pretty well validates my point...

Neato.. little green diagonal stripes and cute little green letters.  I dig it dude man bro.

Drop me on the OCD ADHD Schysophrenic, anxious, depressed, manic, hyperactive boat too.  That's why I ride.... so I don't have to think about how messed up all the chemicals in my brain are.  If you're hurting enough the pain chemicals take over and put a stop to all of the misfiring.  For a few blisful hours during the day, sanity can be yours.

Yeah, I guess my point is that all bikers and even industry folk are pretty well nuts... Anyway, yeah, the new color scheme is to match the kit, but J-Rad says he can't read it.

Some other stuff that has been cracking me with drivers:

Get out of the left lane if you are not passing, even if you think you are going fast.

If someone is passing you on the right, you don't need to speed up to block them out, just let 'em merge (yeah I am guilty here too).

The idea behind the carpool lane is that it goes faster than the other lanes, so if you are going slower than traffic, why not drive in one of other lanes, and not block everyone?

On that note, when in the carpool lane (as in any other situation) it is illegal to cross solid double lines.

I think maybe I'm driving too much lately.

The Brochard bit is the best I've seen in a long time.  It's like the toppling of the Berlin Wall.  Many never thought it would happen in their lifetime.

Thanks for the laugh.

Yeah, when that [stuff] starts to matter it means you're getting old. Unfortunately they called it the HOV lane (or carriage lane as I call it) instead of Express Lane. What's the incentive to use it anyway? In another 10 years time you'll be flaming TRAX for going through your backyard. But at least the air will be soooo much cleaner.... hahahahaha!

I'm with jrad on the colors. New team colors hey?! I can't wait. I'll have my mylar glasses ready.

No, I will be pumped when express rail (not Trax) hits the UC.

And I'm not old.  30 is the new 13 and I'm not even 30 yet.

Alright, that is 3 protestions against the mean green, I will go for something else.

The new layout (post green stripes) looks cool.  When is HealthNet camp?
