Does registering for a plate on Sportsbaseonline also cover the DMV series?  On the registration it is only listed as "RMR-Saltair".  Also, when do the DMV races start?

the $55 plate you buy is used in all 3. I believe the rmr-salt aire thing you mention refers to the season pass you can buy which is just for those two

    Re: 2008 Utah Crit Series

The $55 plate pays for your first race at RMR, each race after that costs $8. the plate is used at RMR, DMV and Saltaire. The $300 pass just covers RMR and Saltaire - you still have to pay for DMV.

    Re: 2008 Utah Crit Series

This may be a little off topic, but I was chatting with the folks who run the Utah Olympic Park in Park City and they said they are always looking for new activities to bring new people to their facility. I mentioned the Royal Street Hill Climb and they said they'd love to do something like that as a series if Royal Street ever becomes a non-option.

The road to the bobsled and ski jump place is a nice new road and actually has low traffic and would be a little easier to get to for the SLC people. It's about a 3 mile climb on a great stretch of asphalt and there are a few things for the significant others and children to do at the top of the hill if they come to watch someone race.

So, if there's ever a move to change from Royal Street, there's the new home of a bi-weekly hill climb from people that would welcome it.
